About Me

My name is Sierra Lucero and I am an aspiring filmmaker with an interest in cinematography and video editing. I grew up in Clovis, New Mexico and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in creative media production.

I love telling stories, and making films has quickly become my favorite way to do so. In my free time, I play Dungeons and Dragons, draw original characters and write up short story ideas with my friends. I also love video games and I am a little bit of a thrill seeker.

RUSHKOFF ADAPTATION

(Editor and Storyboard Artist) A short film based on the ideas in Douglas Rushkoff's "Program or be Programmed". Two girls from different times go through the same day, one present and spirited; the other locked in on her phone.

(Editor, Camera Operator and Writer) Cornelius' depressing life takes a turn for the better when he creates the one and only "Cheemzy".

DOG FOOD COMMERCIAL SPOOF

(Solo Work) A spoof commercial based on a popular dog food brand. This project was created to feel similar to a real dog food advertisement.

A THEFT ON ELM AVE.

(Camera Operator) A standoffish detective uses logic to determine who among the three suspects stole from a beloved professor.

A D&D SHORT FILM

(Editor and Camera Operator) A classic game of Dungeons and Dragons brings the players' imagination to life.

WHEN THE INK DRIES

(Writer) A screenplay for a short film about an amateur tattoo artist who gets found by his crazy ex-girlfriend.
